Founders Update – An amazing first 3 months

Welcome to your inaugural founders’ update, which we plan to use to keep you updated on our latest and greatest plans and activities at Movemeback. Following our soft launch last Winter, we’ve been amazed at how quickly the community has grown and how rapidly our plans have evolved. We invite you to partner with us to share, learn and engage in shaping our next set of achievements for the community.
We started Movemeback with a simple mission of helping some of the world’s most talented individuals to discover and move to exciting African opportunities, from relocation job opportunities with high profile corporates through to internships, investment partnerships or early-stage disruptive entrepreneurial projects. Yet, every day we are reminded that what we are actually doing is building a global platform that empowers and enables talented people to tangibly shape and contribute to Africa’s future economic and social development story.

Celebrating success
Over the last three months we have achieved a lot. Some of our highlights include:

  • Launching our online platform for opportunities including our stories & members’ forum
  • Partnering with some of the boldest in Africa including Uber, Jumia and Living Goods
  • Delivering 30 new opportunities across 8 African countries
  • Steadily approaching the 100th member we’ve helped apply for exciting African opportunities
  • Connecting over 50 entrepreneurs with valuable partners
  • Meeting a selection of amazing new friends and partners including the African Leadership Network, Africa2.0, She Leads Africa, Grow Movement, Emerging Crowd, DC Naija, Ampion, Africa Technology Business Network, and some of the finest global educational institutions

What’s next?
