We make our Service available to different types of Users. As discussed further below, the information that our Service collects from and shares about a User may depend on the User type. An individual may be one or more of these types of Users depending on the nature of his or her interactions with our Service.
Member: An individual that has signed up and been accepted to join Movemeback as a member, has a Member profile, or uses our the Service to find Opportunities and connect with other members.
Organisation: An entity that has an organisation profile with Movemeback, shares Opportunities via Movemeback, or accepts applications in connection with our Service. This includes Organisation entities and individuals acting on behalf of the Organisation entity.
Partner: An individual or organisation engaging with Movemeback to access or contribute to the Movemeback community or Service in any other way not defined as a Member or Organisations, e.g. to share information, Content or third party service with Movemeback’s Members, Organisations or Users.
User: Any individual or entity who uses our Service, has signed-up to use our Service or has joined a Movemeback mailing list (includings Members and Organisation and Partners).
Information About Members: We collect various types of Personal Information about Members in connection with our Services, including:
Username and password
Work and educational history
Company and job title or details
Other uploaded details, including information contained on Member resumes and cover letters
Other details provided when creating or updating a Member profile, such as background details, interests and preferences
Information provided when filling out a form, (e.g. information relating to an application for an Opportunity, Request or response to a Request)
Content posted including questions, comments and photos shared on our Forum
Information about which Opportunities, Requests, or other information and Content you engage with through our Services
Movemeback may make part of the Member information identified above available to Organisations, other Members or Partners for the purpose of providing the Service.
Information About Organisations: We collect various types of Personal Information about Organisations, including:
Content and information shared with Movemeback, including but not limited to role descriptions and details, company profiles, logos and photos
Movemeback may make part of the Organisation information identified above available to Members and/or the public for the purpose of providing the Service.
Information About Partners: We collect various types of Personal Information about Partners, including:
Content shared with Movemeback, including but not limited to event details, press releases, photos, organisation profiles, logos and photos
Movemeback may make part of the Partner information identified above available to Users and and/or the public for the purpose of providing the Service.
Information About Users: We collect various types of Personal Information about Users in connection with our Services, including:
Username and password (if applicable)
Any uploaded details, including information contained on resumes and cover letters
Other details provided when creating or updating a Movemeback profile, such as background details, interests and preferences
Content posted including questions, comments and photos shared on our Forum
Information about which information and Content you engage with through our Services.
Linked Networks: You can elect to sign in or sign up to the Movemeback website through a linked network (e.g. Linkedin), and you can connect your existing Movemeback account with certain third party networks like LinkedIn, Facebook or Google (a “Linked Network”). If you elect to sign up through or connect a Linked Network, we receive certain profile and account information about you from the Linked Network, such as your public profile URL, profile photo, industry, and location, as well as other information associated with your Linked Network account. The specific information provided to us by Linked Networks is determined by these third parties and may vary by network. In all cases, the permissions page for the Linked Network will describe the information being shared. You should consult their respective privacy policies for information about their practices. For information on your choices, including how to disconnect a Linked Network from your Movemeback profile, see the “Your Rights and Access to Information” section below. We will ask for your consent prior to your logging in to Movemeback using your Linked Network account or connecting your Linked Network account to Movemeback. If you provide such consent, you represent and warrant that you satisfy the terms regarding such accounts.
Communications: When you communicate with us (via email, phone, through the Movemeback website or otherwise), we may maintain a record of your communication and any details or attachments provided in that communication.
Messages: We collect information about you when you send, receive, or engage with messages in connection with our Services. For example, if you receive a Movemeback notification, we track whether you have acted on it and may send you reminders.
Information Collected From You About Others: If you invite a third party to join Movemeback, We will collect your and the third party’s names and e-mail addresses in order to send an e-mail and follow up with the third party. We may maintain this information indefinitely and may also use this information to help us establish networks of contacts, document relationships, facilitate referrals, and improve our Service. We rely upon you to obtain whatever consents from the third party that may be required by law to allow us to access and upload the third party’s names and e-mail addresses as required above. You or the third party may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request the removal of this information from our database.
Other Information Collected Automatically Through the Services: We collect information automatically through the Services. This may include your IP address and domain name, your location as inferred from your IP address, your internet service provider, the date and time of your visit to Movemeback, your use of the Services during your current session and over time (including the pages you view), the URLs from the websites you visit before and after navigating to the website, your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system and browser type, and your software and hardware attributes (including device IDs). We collect such information using a variety of mechanisms, including the following:
Server Logs. When you visit the website, we automatically receive and record certain information from your computer (or other device) and your browser. This may include data such as your IP address, the pages you visit, or features you use on Movemeback, and your general geographic location as inferred from your IP address. To obtain such information, we may use server logs or similar applications that recognise your computer or other devices and gather information about their online activity.
Cookies: These are small files with a unique identifier that are transferred to your browser through our websites. They allow us to remember individuals who are logged in to Movemeback, to understand how Users navigate through and use the Movemeback website, and to display personalised content.
Pixels, web beacons, clear GIFs: These are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, which we use to track the online movements of Users of the Movemeback website, and to personalise content. We also use these in our emails to let us know when they have been opened or forwarded, so we can gauge the effectiveness of our communications.
Analytics Tools: We may use internal and third party analytics tools, including Google Analytics. The third party analytics companies we work with may combine the information collected with other information they have independently collected from other websites and/or other online products and services. Their collection and use of information is subject to their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your Personal Information – such as your name and contact information – to third parties to use for their own marketing purposes. We use the data that we have about you to provide and personalise our Service; more specifically to:
Approve you to Movemeback: Review information and credential provided by Users before accepting them as Members, Organisations or Partners;
Provide support: Fulfill the terms of any agreement you have with us, respond to your requests or inquiries, provide troubleshooting, and for other customer service purposes;
Provide information: Communicate with Users through newsletters, Opportunity notifications, updates, administrative communications related to the Services, and other details and services that we believe will be of interest to Users.
Personalisation: Create a custom experience for Users and tailor our Services to Users’ individual interests and preferences. Keeping your profile accurate and up-to-date may help you better find Opportunities through our Services;
Use as profile information: Your name, photo, and professional title and other relevant public-friendly information may be available for viewing when you post a Request, Forum question or Comment to Users of the Movemeback website.
Action your invitations: When you send an invitation to a third party to join Movemeback or share an Opportunity with them. This email includes your name and email address. We may send invitation reminders to the person you invited;
Share Organisation and Partner information: Post Organisation and Partner description, Opportunities, Events, press releases and other information for Organisations and Partners;
Connect Members to Organisations: to transmit or redirect Members’ Opportunity applications and expressions of interest to Organisations;
Connect Members to Members: to transmit or redirect Members’ Request responses to the Member who created the Request and vice versa;
Service development and research: Engage in analysis and research concerning the Services, improve Users’ experiences with the Services, and otherwise enhance the quality of our products and services;
Aggregate insights: Gather metrics to better understand how Users access and use the Movemeback website; to evaluate and improve the Movemeback website, and to develop new products and services.
Anonymous data records: We may create anonymous data records by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We use this data to analyse request and usage patterns so that we may enhance the content of Service and improve Site navigation. We reserve the right to use anonymous data for any purpose and disclose anonymous data to third parties at our sole discretion;
Marketing and promotion: For marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send you news and newsletters, special offers, and promotions, or to otherwise contact you about products or information we think may interest you, including information about third party products and services;
Legal use: Comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements or to protect our rights and interests;
For any other business purpose permitted by law.
Business Partners: We may share your information, including Personal Information, with our business partners to fulfill your requests for the Services; complete a transaction that you initiate; or meet the terms of any agreement that you have with us or our business partners. For example, at a Member’s direction, we may share the Member’s contact information, resume, cover letter and other relevant details directly with a third-party Organisation rather than through the website.
Other Users of the Services: We may share information, including Personal Information, with other Users of the Services where appropriate. For example, if you submit information to us, complete an application, or engage in a collaboration request, we may share that information with an Organisation who will then review and evaluate your application. Similarly, we may share a Member’s contact information with another Member if they have chosen to collaborate on a Request, to enable them to communicate directly.
Posts and Comments: Our Services allow viewing and sharing information including Forum posts and comments. When you share a Forum post it can be viewed by Movemeback User or available publicly on the Internet and shared anywhere. Members will be able to find and see your content, including your name (and professional title and photo if you have provided them)
Metrics: We may share with users advertising via Movemeback or users of our advertisers or publishers aggregate statistics, metrics and other reports about the performance of their ads or content in the Movemeback website such as the number of unique User views, demographics about the Users who saw their ads or content, conversion rates, and date and time information. We do not share IP addresses or Personal Information. We may also allow our advertisers or publishers to use Pixels on the Movemeback website in order to collect information about the performance of their ads or content.
De-identified or Aggregated Information: We also may compile and share de-identified or aggregated information about Users of the Services, such as by publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Services or sharing aggregated information about historical and real-time trends in employment. We also may share de-identified or aggregated information about the numbers, types, or origins of Users who express interest in, or apply to an Opportunity on the websites of our business partners or who click on our business partners’ links on the Services (such as a job posting or article).
Compliance with Laws and for other Legitimate Business Purposes: We may share your Personal Data when we believe disclosure is necessary or required by law, regulation, to protect Users, the integrity of Movemeback or Service and to defend or exercise our legal rights. We may also disclose your Personal Data when it may be necessary for other legitimate purposes as reasonably determined by Movemeback.
The security of your information is important to us. Movemeback uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information against loss or unauthorised access, use, modification, or deletion. However, no security program is 100% secure, and thus we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. We urge you to take steps to keep your Personal Information safe, such as choosing a strong password and keeping it private, as well as logging out of your User account, and closing your web browser when finished using the Movemeback website on a shared or unsecured device.
You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging into your account. You may also contact us using the contact information below, and we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws.
You may, of course, decline to submit information through the Movemeback website, in which case we may not be able to provide certain Services to you.
Your Rights: Depending on your location and where applicable law requires, you may have the following choices with respect to your Personal Information:
Change or correct information: You can edit some of your Personal Information through your account. You can also ask us to change, update or fix your data in certain cases, particularly if it’s inaccurate.
Delete information: You can ask us to erase or delete all or some of your Personal Information (e.g., if it is no longer necessary to provide Services to you).
Object to, or limit or restrict, use of information: You can ask us to stop using all or some of your Personal Information (e.g., if we have no legal right to keep using it) or to limit our use of it (e.g., if your Personal Information is inaccurate or unlawfully held).
Right to access and/or take your information: You can ask us for a copy of your Personal Information and can ask for a copy of Personal Information you provided in machine readable form.
Right to complain: You can lodge a complaint with us or, as applicable, with a supervisory authority.
Your Content: We have no control over deletions or changes to your Content if it has been shared manually by others.
Credentials: You can change your credentials that are displayed on your profile or in connection with you Content.
Deleted or Deactivated Account: If you choose delete your account, all of your Content may be removed permanently from the Movemeback website, and it may not be restored by us, even if you change your mind. If you choose deactivate your account, then you will no longer receive any communications from us; however your Content may remain on the Movemeback website. Once you deactivate your account, you can reactivate it any time by contacting us.
Please note that if you choose to delete your account, we will retain Personal Information in order to comply with the law, protect our and others’ rights, resolve disputes or enforce our legal terms or policies, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
Linked Networks: You can disconnect a Linked Network (e.g. Linkedin) through controls provided where applicable or by contacting us. Once a Linked Network has been disconnected, we will not receive information from that Linked Network going forward, unless you choose to reconnect it.
We retain your Personal Information while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you Services. This includes data you or others provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services. We will retain your information and keep your profile open until you decide to close your account. You can request deletion of your Personal Data at any time. If you choose to delete your account, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we will retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain appropriate business records, and enforce our agreements. Further, any questions you post, comment or answer, or other your Content that other Users have responded to or interacted with may continue to appear in the Movemeback website, but your User name will be removed from such content. In some cases we choose to retain certain information in a depersonalised or aggregated form.
Movemeback is headquartered in the United Kingdom, and has operations and service providers in the United Kingdom and across the world. As such, we and our service providers may transfer your Personal Information to, or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We rely on legally-provided mechanisms to lawfully transfer data across borders.
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. Movemeback does not knowingly collect Personal Information or other information from anyone under the age of 16.
The Service may link to websites or services of third parties. Other websites may also contain links to the Movemeback website or Service. These websites should have their own privacy policies, which you should check. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.
We do not knowingly collect, and we ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, any sensitive Personal Information on or through the Services. Such information includes, but is not limited to, social security numbers, financial account information (except for payment information as required), and information related to or revealing political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background, or trade union membership.
We will only collect and process Personal Information about you where we have lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent (where you have given consent), contract (where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g. to deliver the Movemeback Services you have requested) and “legitimate interests” (e.g. to protect you, us, or others from threats such as security threats or fraud).
