This is a global platform to increase and strengthen the access of women and girls to all levels and forms of education into political and public life, technology, entrepreneurship and career development. The program is aligned with the priority theme of the 65th session of the commission on the status of women, “Women's full and effective participation and decision-making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”, and the flagship Generation Equality campaign, which calls for women’s right to decision-making in all areas of life, equal pay, equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work, an end to all forms of violence against women and girls, and health-care services that respond to their needs.

Special Needs Initiative For Growth is a civil society organization; an NGO presiding in Lagos State, Nigeria that provides empowerment tools, resources and programs for children, early adults, young adults and aged persons with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, visually impairment and autism spectrum disorders.
We leverage on assistive technology, rehabilitative technologies, advocacy, mentorship, capacity building, health support services, career development and entrepreneurship to promote and sustain the social and economic wellbeing and rights of persons with disabilities in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. Our mission is providing total empowerment tools and resources that promote education, entrepreneurship, health approaches and career development channels for the special needs community in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
