A coalition of organizations known as Special Needs Initiative for Growth, Kachem Young Initiative, American Corner Hosted at CcHUB, Handsmithen and The Project Enable cordially invites you to join them for the Second Cohort of the Socio-cultural and Economic Reawakening Virtual Convention in commemoration of the International Women's Day taking place on the 8th of March 2021. 


This is a global platform to increase and strengthen the access of women and girls to all levels and forms of education into political and public life, technology, entrepreneurship and career development. The program is aligned with the priority theme of the 65th session of the commission on the status of women, “Women's full and effective participation and decision-making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”, and the flagship Generation Equality campaign, which calls for women’s right to decision-making in all areas of life, equal pay, equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work, an end to all forms of violence against women and girls, and health-care services that respond to their needs.


They are looking for women, girls and community leaders who are:

  • Citizens and residents of the eligible countries across Nigeria and other English speaking African countries. Not limited to the United States, Europe and Asian Countries
  • Women and girls in Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Women and girls in Technology and Digital Inclusion
  • Women and girls in Politics and Public Life
  • Women and girls in Educational Institutions
  • Women and girls with disabilities
  • Community Leaders in social, economic and political affairs. (Not Limited to male community leaders)
  • Women and girls with keen interest to participate in entrepreneurship, technology and political roles


Those who get a chance to attend the convention will have access to expand professional network opportunity with professional leaders in Entrepreneurship, Technology and Political Sectors and also get advisory opportunity with program organisers and professional Leaders.

Special Needs Initiative For Growth is a civil society organization; an NGO presiding in Lagos State, Nigeria that provides empowerment tools, resources and programs for children, early adults, young adults and aged persons with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, visually impairment and autism spectrum disorders.
