Yet, the World Bank estimates that there is a gap in investment of around $4trn annually needed for developing countries to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, FSD Africa estimates the funding gap for SMEs, infrastructure, housing, and agriculture at more than $300bn per year.
