The Africa Resilience Forum (ARF) is the African Development Bank's flagship event bringing together key stakeholders to discuss critical issues of fragility and resilience. The event with the theme “Covid-19 and Beyond: Working Together for a Resilient Society” aims to strengthen partnerships and explore policy ideas for sustainable development, especially in the context where Covid-19 pandemic continues to test the resilience mechanisms of communities and institutions.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group’s mission is to help reduce poverty, improve living conditions for Africans and mobilize resources for the continent’s economic and social development. With this objective in mind, the institution aims at assisting African countries – individually and collectively - in their efforts to achieve sustainable economic development and social progress.
