To commemorate Africa Day, the African Society of Cambridge University (ASCU), in partnership with various Africa-focused student societies across the University of Cambridge, has organised a day long event to showcase, educate and celebrate the African continent and its people.
Under the theme 'Engendering an Inclusive Africa', Africa Together will include panels of prominent African luminaries on a range of issues reflecting the diversity of the continent, including religion, leadership, entrepreneurship, diversity, resources the arts.

ASCU’s mission is to bring together the diverse intellectual and professional energies of the continent and stimulate fresh perspectives on salient issues affecting Africans in Africa and in the diaspora. As ASCU’s flagship event, ‘Africa Together’ gives esteemed speakers a platform to share their personal stories, experiences and opinions, in addition to discussing contemporary issues impacting the continent. The 'Africa Together' conference is a unique collaborative effort bringing together not only the African groups in Cambridge but also engaging those in academic, public and private organizations.
