The 18th annual Africa Business Summit is a full-day conference, scheduled to be held on Saturday 27th April 2019. The summit attracts over 400 delegates each year and provides a platform for frank debate on effective strategies for sustaining the continent’s positive momentum.

Keynote addresses will feature a diverse and distinguished roster of high calibre business and public leaders with significant experience on the continent offering practical insights: opportunities, challenges of doing business, individual market characteristics, and best practices. The Summit will also feature a number of panel discussions drilling deeper into topic areas, as well as practical how-to sessions designed to offer attendees concrete takeaways on topics such as market entry, channel strategies, etc.

The summit will also feature the ACCEL Awards, an annual start-up contest organised by the London Business School’s Africa Club in collaboration with the Club Alumni and Corporate Partners including FTSE 100 companies, venture capital firms, entrepreneurship incubators and media companies. At the conference, three African start-ups will have the opportunity to showcase their companies to the audience, including investors, business leaders, and top African talent.

The day’s proceedings will end with our Alumni awards ceremony during a seated Gala dinner reception with live African entertainment for a chance to deepen connections in a relaxed setting and carry on the day’s active debates.

The Africa Business Summit is the ultimate networking and learning opportunity for professionals and students with a passion for doing business in Africa.
