One Acre Fund (OAF) supplies smallholder farmers in East, West and Southern Africa with asset-based financing and agriculture training services. One Acre Fund provide quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes and agricultural training to improve harvests. They measure success by their ability to make farmers more prosperous - on average, farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund. The One Acre vision for 2020 is to improve the lives of more than 1 million farm families by delivering exemplary services to their doorsteps. OAF is growing quickly and currently serves more than 800,000 farm families in Eastern and Southern Africa, with more than 7,500 full-time staff. OAF are looking for a self-motivated individual, who is dedicated to social impact to join their Rwanda strategy team.
As the new Strategy and Operations Analyst, you will work on short-term projects across multiple functions to solve complex operational, strategic and financial problems. With a wide variety of projects to work on, no one day will ever be the same. You will gain exposure to high-level strategy, by working in different departments and by being on the ground in the field. You will take on full ownership of projects, from planning, through to execution and follow-up, often working directly with varied project partners, including occasionally the Country Director. You will manage anywhere from 2-5 projects at any given time, and are expected to tackle any type of project – from quantitative modelling to primary research – with a focus on analysing and solving the problem at hand. You may be asked to take on direct management responsibilities for a growing team of analysts. This is a full-time career-track role within One Acre Fund Rwanda’s Strategy team.

In 2013, farmers who worked with One Acre Fund realised a 180% return on their investment and significantly increased farm income on every planted acre.
