Since 2013, they have covered over 100,000 square foot of work and employed over 100 staff in their projects. Haussmann Group have ambitious plans to become the leading player in the workplace industry in Africa, by 2022; through the development of several new businesses, and the creation of a strong B2B Corporate Brand. Haussmann is looking to hire a Talent Manager to join their growing team and operations.


As the new Talent Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and subsequently the COO. Your responsibilities will be three-fold and encompass leadership of all aspects of Talent operations: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Learning and Talent Engagement & Company Culture. 


Role Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition:

  • Draft job descriptions, secure and sign off approval  for openings
  • Manage the various Talent Acquisitions channels
  • Implement and manage the online software
  • Drive the Talent Acquisition process
  • Lead the on-boarding process

Talent Development & Learning

  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • Lead & manage personal improvement plans
  • Lead & manage the company Training program
  • Lead & manage the continuous feedback policy
  • Manage the Talent & Culture Learning program

Talent Engagement & Company Culture

  • Monitor staff engagement, satisfaction and retention
  • Lead Talent-related Internal Communication
  • Create a lively and inspiring company culture


You have the potential to be based in a number of locations, as follows: Ebene, Mauritius or Johannesburg, South Africa, preferred. Alternative options are: Europe; Lagos, Nigeria; Nairobi, Kenya; Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.


  • 4-5 years of professional experience in similar field, preferably in the Hospitality industry with significant achievements in:
    • Recruitment & Talent on-boarding
    • Talent development
    • Developing Company Culture
    • Compensation structuring
  • Self Driven, pro-active, autonomous and reliable
  • Detailed oriented & rigorous
  • Excellent working experience in a fast growing company
  • Strong international exposure
  • Outstanding track record in hiring & developing people at all levels
