GreenPath Food produces and sources premium, organic food in the Southern Highlands of Ethiopia. Everything we grow is hand sown, organically grown and harvested without machinery. Moreover, it is all sourced from our network of smallholder partner farms. We are proud to be Ethiopia's only organic fresh food producer, under the EU standard. Using regenerative, biodynamic farming practices, our Partner Farms cultivate “food forests,” which yield a portfolio of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. GreenPath Food is one of The Perennial Foods Group's (PFG) two portfolio brands. Our fresh fruits and vegetables produced are exported to the UK, EU, and UAE where they are sold; our herbs are dried and sold in the UK via our herbal tea brand, Kib. The Perennial Foods Group (PFG) is a regenerative agriculture company that produces and sources a range of organic food through a network of small farms across Africa. By supplying small farms with inputs, ﬁnancing, and technical support and then aggregating, purchasing, and processing their products, PFG creates sustainable supply chains for global customers and sustainable farms and livelihoods for thousands of growers. In doing so, we seek to protect and regenerate thousands of hectares of forest and farmland across the African continent. We currently operate our ﬂagship production operation in southern Ethiopia and our commercial headquarters in London, but we are actively expanding across Europe and East Africa. With a growing team, farmer network, and global customer base, we're on the lookout for supremely capable talent with a passion for food and a deep commitment to improve its roots.
As the leader of our commercial function at GreenPath Food, you will be responsible for growing the sales and proﬁtability of our fresh produce line. In this role, you will directly manage a small team, as well as a network of strategic sales partners in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, the UAE and beyond. Your team will support you with delivering excellent day-to-day customer service, whilst you manage high-level relationships and ultimate commercial performance. You will play a central role in increasing our revenue ten-fold in the next three years, by strengthening our brand and generating sales through a blend of retailers, specialty wholesale customers, and distribution partnerships. This is a leadership position which reports to the Managing Director of PFG. The successful candidate will have access to an experienced Commercial Advisor to support with industry knowledge and strategic advisory.
This is a remote position expected to work-from-home for the ﬁrst 12-24 months (at minimum), with regular travel to visit our team, customers, and suppliers. Preference will be given to candidates based in the UK or Netherlands - however, candidates elsewhere in Europe or East Africa are also welcome to apply.
