As the new Venture Lending Manager, you will manage and lead a variety of debt financing products to be offered to early- and growth-stage companies.

 

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Originate attractive venture lending products that will provide growth capital to companies in their early and growth stages.
  • Effective client relationship management, strong business networks and market knowledge
  • Identify opportunities by understanding the finances, business strategies, capital structure, industry and capital markets dynamics of the companies
  • Ensure execution of transactions and timely collection of fees
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance responsibilities as well as risk thresholds 
  • Ensure, and if need be, develop new systems, procedures, controls that are adequate for business solution/deals
  • Track and monitor payment obligations by the companies.
  • Maintain adequate communication of performance and activities to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage business profitability effectively
  • Collaboration with relevant stakeholders within the Group
     

 

Criteria

  • A minimum of first degree or its equivalent in a business-related discipline
  • Minimum 7-15 years' experience in a similar role, department or organisation
  • Minimum 7- 15 years' track record in executing
  • Chartered accountancy experience, or experience within an investment banking analyst programme with a credit bias
  • Strong cashflow lending or venture lending experience
  • Financial Analysis skills
  • Valuation skills
