FCMB are seeking a new Head of Growth and Marketing for Borderless Banking, to support in the success of a new digital bank, incubated within the group. The new digital bank will service Nigerian diasporans in UK, by enabling borderless banking between UK and Nigeria, and removing the barrier to banking in Nigeria from overseas. As Head of Growth and Marketing, you will be responsible for scaling traffic, users and retention via content and distribution channels. With the ultimate objective of generating higher revenue, you will conceptualise and lead the execution of growth strategies that optimise marketing and communications channels. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will also be required to keep abreast of digital marketing trends, as well as the experience of your users, to translate feedback and new ideas into actionable decisions that deliver business results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing messages
  • Identify, develop and optimise marketing and communications channels (blogging, email, social media, influencers community, advocates, PR, advertising, direct mail, app landing page etc.) 
  • Incorporate ‘game thinking’ into product design
  • Run focus group sessions
  • Grow users and usage rates
  • Conduct and present competitive analyses and market research
  • Translate ideas to actionable items that deliver business results
  • Analyse, recommend and lead the implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Keep abreast with the latest trends and changes in UI/UX and digital marketing
  • Identify industry trends and insights.
  • Create and govern an FCMB design system/language to ensure consistency of brand across channels.

Criteria

  • Previous working experience, leading a Marketing and Growth function in a start up or Fintech business
  • Strong business development experience 
  • Data centric role experience
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics and testing tools            
  • Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High standards of excellence and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with UK/USA/African markets
  • Understanding of fintech or similar digital services 
  • Strong academic record (first and/or post graduate degree from a top tier international University)
