This company is seeking a talented, high impact Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead all commercial teams and own the country P&L, from business plan creation with CEO to day-to-day performance execution. As the new CCO, you will own of key transformation projects, and have frequent interactions with Group Management including several ExCom Members. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic growth plans, as it enters an exciting new phase.


Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieve KPIs of revenue, items sold, gross margin, assortment and active ventor base
  • Build, manage, animate the key account management team
  • Maintain a strong relationship with key executives of top brands and top sellers
  • Become an expert of the different categories with a perfect knowledge of the different products / pricing / stakeholder dynamic / market trends
  • Acquire, grow, train and animate the tail of seller through your Vendor Success team 
  • Protect and improve the customer and seller experience
  • Organise key commercial events such as Black Friday
  • Build a very friendly user interface for vendors and customers by being deeply involved in all Tech developments

Criteria

  • 5+ years’ experience in consulting (BCG, Bain, McKinsey); or 5+ years experience in ecommerce (Amazon, Alibaba, etc.); or 5+ years in top banks
  • 8-10 years' experience managing commercial teams in leading multinationals or start ups
  • Degree from a top 1% Business / Engineering School or University
  • Strong management & leadership skills
  • Strongly outcome driven
  • Very ecommerce friendly with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well structured, highly analytical, well organised, and resistant to stress
