Catalyst Fund is BFA Global’s largest project. It is an accelerator for inclusive tech startups in emerging markets who are designing affordable, accessible and appropriate solutions for underserved individuals and small businesses. The program tackles challenges faced by innovators, through a combination of catalytic grant capital, bespoke venture-building support from market and sector experts, and access to a global network of investors and corporate innovators; while sharing insights, learnings and toolkits with the broader inclusive tech ecosystem.
About the Role:

Do you want to support cutting-edge innovators around the globe to develop solutions that help the underserved? BFA Global is looking for an accomplished communications and marketing professional for BFA Global, its largest project, Catalyst Fund.
Reporting to the Head of Comms & Influence, the Comms & Influence Manager will know how to develop and execute influence strategies that can reach target stakeholders in the development, tech, financial inclusion, and international development ecosystems, from startups to investors, banks, and funders. They will have phenomenal writing skills and the ability to work with experts across BFA to act as a thought partner for written content, and be able to extract and articulate insights that are meaningful to a broader audience. The successful candidate will be passionate about storytelling, familiar with managing press and media, and able to diagnose and advise on solutions for challenges faced by startup teams in the marketing and communications space.

Catalyst Fund is BFA Global’s flagship tech accelerator. Catalyst Fund supports early-stage inclusive tech startups focused on creating solutions for emerging market underserved consumers. The program has two mandates: accelerating pre-investable inclusive tech startups and accelerating the innovation ecosystems that enable them to scale.
